With nearly all of my listings selling in multiple offers, I draw upon The Grubb Company’s in-house marketing department and affiliations with Luxury Portfolio International and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World to cast a wider net. As a successful renovator and flipper I know how to merchandise your home so it outshines the competition. Creating a distinct brand to showcase each property, I utilize cutting-edge marketing strategies combined with decades of experience. With strategic pricing and skilled negotiation tactics, my sellers know they are selling at the highest possible price.
My deep knowledge of the community and close relationships with other agents gives my buyers the inside track for on and off-market opportunities, while my successful financial planning and real estate investment background gives buyers an edge to make smart buying decisions. My buyers always know they are buying at the best possible price.
Whether you need a tradesperson to help with a home repair or improvement, a lender, or agent in another area, I can help! I take great care and pride in personally connecting you with the right service expert or realtor for your particular situation.
When my clients were in need of a stellar agent for their landmark Monte Rio home (below) on the Russian River, I connected them with Kyla Brooke 707.481.0098 for a home run sale.
When my buyers identified the perfect Piedmont home for their family, they needed to sell their Palo Alto home asap. I connected them with colleague Hadar Guibara—(650) 947-2942—who I knew would jump right in and get their home sold for top dollar.
I love to answer your questions. My acumen in real estate means your success, and while I take a bold approach in representing my clients, I build those relationships with warmth, trust, and discretion.
Please reach out if you have any more questions for me.
Should I sell my home without listing it?
Probably not. Real estate agents tend to agree that the best way to sell most homes is to list them on the public market, or Multiple Listing Service, which maximizes the number of eyeballs and potential buyers. That said, if your home is unique or difficult to price—for instance, it’s the biggest house on the block, or it’s an architectural marvel—listing it off-market for a little while might help you arrive at a realistic price.
What characterizes the East Bay market you cover?
Piedmont, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Orinda, Moraga & Lafayette have beautiful homes, an easy commute to San Francisco and a great sense of community. Many of the buyers are from the city. Once their children reach school-age, they look for homes in the suburbs rather than having to spend a fortune sending their children to private schools. They’ll have to pay property taxes, but they don’t have to pay private school tuition and at least their taxes will be going to a good cause – their children’s education!
I’m friends with several real estate agents. Shouldn’t I choose someone else so I don’t make anyone angry?
Agents are independent contractors and vary greatly in their backgrounds, approach, skillsets and hence results. The sale or purchase of real estate is the largest transaction most people will ever complete. Choosing the right representation should be given great care, properly considering the client’s situation and goals. Good agents, while competitive, understand its business and will respect your decision.
I’m in the market to buy a house. How do I find out about off-market home listings?
A well-connected agent can help. Go for a neighborhood expert wherever you’re buying—they’ll be plugged into what’s being shopped around off-market. There are also a growing number of websites that can give you a preview of what’s to come, like Pacific Union International’s new Private View site.
What is their approach to customer service?
I am driven from my early days with Nordstrom to provide an extraordinary buying and selling experience. I provide strong client focus, exemplary customer service and extreme discretion before, during, and after the sale. My full time assistant helps me ensure that you receive White Glove Service by making sure your needs are promptly met and your expectations are far exceeded.
Do you have legal support? Have you ever been sued?
With 1 in 100 real estate transactions ending in litigation, it’s a benefit to my clients that I have access to Robert Belzer, Esq., Grubb’s in house council. My escrow coordinators are well-trained in property disclosure analysis and in making sure your files are detailed, complete and in compliance with strict state and brokerage regulations. I have never been sued.
Do They Have a Business background?
I graduated from the University of Washington in Marketing and have a successful financial planning and real estate investment background. I understand market cycles, trends, how to buy low, sell high, and build wealth.
“My goal is to deliver such an exceptional client experience that they will never want to make a move without my guidance. That is why my counsel, care, and focus are always on the client.”
